VIA-FERRATA
Outstanding landscapes!
Via Ferrata Hérault is not a very complicated activity. However, this activity can be relatively risky if not carried out in good weather conditions or with the right equipment. If you’re new to via-ferrata in Occitania, we advise you to take the first steps with an instructor. He or she will be familiar with the weather forecast, the escape routes, the sections that can or cannot be climbed depending on the clientele, and the little “fun” bonuses (e.g. pendulum jumps).
You’ll be provided with safety equipment specific to via-ferrata: helmets and harnesses fitted with shock-absorbing lanyards. You’ll climb in complete safety on a cliff equipped with rungs and a cable that serves as a lifeline throughout the route.
These wall courses are made even more fun with aerial monkey bridges, superb zip lines and impressive pendulum jumps…
Our two flagship via-ferrata routes in the Hérault are :
– The Thaurac via-ferrata in St Bauzille de Putois.
– The Vidourle via-ferrata in Saint Sériès.

Via-Ferrata du Thaurac

It’s a compendium of everything you’d expect to find in a fully equipped Via Ferrata Herault.

Via-Ferrata du Vidourle

Situated on the border between the Gard and Hérault departments, the Vidourle river acts as a divider. This is the Roque de Saint-Sériès...

Via-Ferrata du Rocher de Sion

Via-ferrata du Rocher de Sion: in the magnificent setting of the Thaurac, at the foot of the village of Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois.
