How to go canyoning: 1/2-day discovery trips à la carte!
To get you off to a good start, and if you’re short of time, we offer a range of 1/2-day outings. For your first outings, it’s very important to be accompanied by professional , state-certified guides. Canyoning is great fun, but can be dangerous if you don’t know your way around.

Our discovery outings are fun. That’s why we like to have a good laugh and enjoy the peace and quiet! We set up a number of natural games so that you can enjoy the activity to the full. You should generally allow 3-4 hours of car-to-car activity for half-days.
You can find all the canyoning routes we offer à la carte in the Hérault, Gard and Lozère regions.

How do I fit out?
Canyoning equipment is essential for your safety and for a successful outing. What should I bring? Generally speaking, you only need to bring your swimsuit and dry clothes for the end of the activity. You can also bring cereal bars, water or a thermos of tea or coffee. We provide all the equipment you need: neoprene wetsuit, safety harness with double lanyard, descender, helmet and waterproof canister bag. And don’t forget to bring your own sneakers with ankle protection.

For total immersion and learning basic handling techniques, we offer three-day courses.
On the program:
- Familiarize yourself with the local topography. a topo and difficulty markings, including commitment, verticality and the aquatic nature of the canyon)
- Familiarization with essential equipment. ( Carabiners, descender, self-locking devices, webbing and canyoning bag )
- Learn how to set up an abseil with a detachable rope and a rope level with the water(the most important rope handling technique in canyoning to be able to unblock someone quickly during an abseil).
- Guided abseiling to avoid dangerous or excessive water movements.
- Learn to probe the water’s height and depth to be able to practice jumps.
- The essential first-aid kit to have in your waterproof container.
- Familiarization with specific movement gestures and safety positions when crossing obstacles (natural slides, jumps, syphons and drop zip lines).
